A Tribute Sketch
/On Tuesday I went to see this inspiring lady perform her brilliant debut one-woman play Elephant at the Bush Theatre!
I've known Anoushka since the early 2000s and have been following the evolution of her music and talent ever since! I was absolutely blown away by this latest effort, which shines bright in its sense of truth, coupled with exceptional storytelling.
A bold and beautiful story of self discovery, mixed race identity, love and creativity that looks conflict in the face and calls out contradictions. It made me laugh, it made me cry and held me completely entranced throughout!
