A Tango in Paint

Connection, power, emotion, grace and elegance - the extraordinary energy of Argentinian Tango is mesmerizing to watch!
It is a dance I would love to learn one day. For now, I pay homage to it in paint, beginning my journey with two extraordinary dancers Dmitry Vasin & Esmer Omerova and their spell binding performance in 2015.
Every movement deeply felt, a triumph of nuance, expertly expressing the music and creating an electric intimacy. At times gentle as a feather and sensuously slow, at times exhilaratingly quick and passionately strong.
