World Burlesque Day
/I am excited to share with you my latest digital painting, literally just finished, of the wonderful dancer Corina!
In celebration of World Burlesque day I reached out to Corina for this collaboration.
This painting was actually based on a circus themed performance she did and, whilst you can't see it, the rest of Corina was on stilts!
So whilst not strictly speaking a Burlesque, I nevertheless felt the razzle dazzle mix of sequins, feathers and general va va voom still hit the mark, hopefully you think so too!
It was a lovely opportunity to really explore ‘drama’ in costume and makeup and what an amazing mood it can conjure.
